Consumers in Asia are more likely to check food labels when making purchasing decisions than those in America and Europe.

After surveying 5,000 consumers from 10 countries spanning Asia, the Americas and Europe on their shopping and eating habits, major food colouring company GNT Group found that up to 85% of Asian consumers say they examine food labels closely.
