Chinese printer expands into package printing with press investment

CHINA – As part of its plan to move into the package printing sector, Chinese commercial printer Zhengzhou Jinhui Printing has invested in a new medium-format press.
The five-colour KBA Rapida 105 ordered will be a five-colour coater version with extended delivery, a board-handling capability, automatic plate changers, CIPLink networking with pre-press, nonstop facilities at the infeed and washing systems for the blankets and impression cylinders.
The press will be installed at the company’s facility in Henan in August
While the extensive range of features chosen is unusual in the Chinese market, general manager Han Han has clear ideas on what he is looking for in terms of efficiency and economy.
With the adoption of digital workflows and MIS software at his factory, Zhengzhou Jinhui can now guarantee a fast turnaround, with production and delivery within 24 hours.
