Sanko opens new packaging machinery plant in Japan

JAPAN - Sanko Machinery Co Ltd has started operations at its new manufacturing facility in Sagamihara, Japan.
Doubling the capacity of its previous location, the new facility accommodates expanded production requirements and improved research and development programmes. It also has additional room for advanced testing, system upgrades and new system design and development.
For Sanko, the Sagamihara site expansion will allow for focus on systems that have been built to accommodate strict packaging requirements and other aseptic product categories.
The Japanese company is a specialist in manufacturing automatic packaging machines to package various materials including powder, granules, liquid, paste, and so on into small bags. Sanko also has manufacturing and packaging facilities in Kagoshima, Japan, as well as in Indonesia and Thailand.
