Heineken strengthens partnership with UBL in India

INDIA - Heineken N.V. has signed a new shareholders' agreement with United Breweries Limited (UBL) - which owns the popular Kingfisher beer brand in India – which includes the key terms of brewing and distribution of Heineken brand in India, the transfer of the Danish brewer’s businesses in the country to UBL, and the appointment of three Heineken staff to the UBL Board.
