The marcus evans InnoPak 2011: Revolutionary Packaging Conference will be held from September 8-9, 2011 in Singapore. More than 12 packaging experts will share insights on key innovatiove strategies to decrease packaging costs, enhance sustainability and increase sales.

Three years into the five-year tenure of the Singapore Packaging Agreement (SPA), 121 companies have inked their commitment to reduce packaging waste, an encouraging increase from just 32 signatories in 2007 when the agreement was launched. To date, the participating companies have cumulatively reduced 4,520 tonnes of packaging waste. Besides saving the companies S$8.34 million in production costs, the reduction also helped reduce waste at source.

Taking this positive outlook ahead and gearing up the region for more innovative strategies, this conference will be highlighting the packaging challenges by thinking “out of the box”, new trends and challenges in sustainable packaging, solutions and innovations t o implement as part of the sustainable packaging initiatives, innovative alternative materials, drivers and barriers to sustainable packaging, effective methods to reduce packaging waste, increasing productivity levels by ensuring low cost yet high quality of materials  and benchmarking with industry experts to better position the packaging efforts.Annual InnoPak 2011 Conference in Singapore, Packaging, Asia, Singapore, Marcus Evans
