HONG KONG – Led by the Taiwanese Printing Technology Research Institute, a delegation of exhibitors from Taiwan are showcasing their innovative solutions at the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair currently running from 27-30 April 2016 at the AsiaWorld-Expo.
As of 2014, there were 7,100 printing companies in Taiwan producing products worth NTD70 billion. The Greater Taipei region alone supplies 88% of the production value of Taiwan’s domestic demand market – including cultural products such as books, periodicals, magazines and textbooks, and commercial products such as advertising and packaging products.
According to the Taiwanese Printing Technology Research Institute, Taiwan’s printing industry is well-known for its digital and automated manufacturing process systems with high efficiency and excellent quality. An enhanced capability in cross-media and cross-sectional developments, as well as increasing government subsidies, help the industry continuously improve and innovate its technological offerings.
At the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, more than 10 Taiwanese companies are exhibiting its products and services to the international buyers visiting the show.
Cindy Lin of the Taiwanese Printing Technology Research Institute said, “Hong Kong is a key international business hub, and the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair is well-known in the industry for its professionalism, good mix of exhibitors and ability to attract international buyers.
“This is our third time organising a Taiwanese exhibitor delegation to the show, and we see the value of bringing our members here to capture global business opportunities.”
One of the Taiwanese exhibitors is Jing-Feng Digital Service Co Ltd (booth 3-B02). The company reports great interest from show visitors in its cold foil printing and packaging solutions – including its high-quality cold foil shrink wrap labels. The company also offers cold foil printing with RFID labels, and cold foil solutions with CMYK or screen printing.
