The Hong Kong-based company supplies holographic labels with overt security features – including lens, 2D/3D and kinematic effects, high resolution line patterns, concealed images and 90degree switching effect – as well as covert security features – such as micro and nano text/images, and multi grade and dynamic covert laser readable images.
The holographic labels are enhanced with the company’s iSAT (Integrated Solutions for Authentication & Tracking) system, which offers comprehensive authentication and tracking features for brand security.
To complement its core business, Laser Art Studio also developed a range of consumer touch point solutions that can be integrated with the iSAT solutions, and launched them two years ago.
Besides security printing and holographic imagery and distribution and tracking features, the iSat Interactive Label carries an encrypted QR code which does more than provide detailed product information to consumers and enable the use of the customised apps for consumers to authenticate the product - an anti-counterfeiting feature.
“Consumers can easily install apps via PlayStore, and our iSat Touch Point Systems can enable brand owners to directly communicate with consumers and gain customer product feedback.
“At the same time, brand owners can capture data - including when and where the product was purchased,” he added.
Laser Art Studio supplies many major international brands from its facility in Hong Kong – including Levi Strauss & Co, Nike, Walt Disney, Canon, and Li & Fung.
The company’s solutions are currently on show at Booth 3-A10 at the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, which runs from 27-30 April 2015 at AsiaWorld-Expo.
