UK –
To keep in line with competitors, Grace Foods UK has decided to move its Caribbean Choice Hot Pepper Sauce and Sweet Chilli Sauce from a squeezy plastic bottle into a 250ml white flint glass bottle.

The leading supplier of Caribbean food and drink products in the UK, Grace Foods UK approached glass manufacturer Beatson Clark to design a new bottle for the product, which is due to be relaunched next month in the independent and wholesale trade.Changing packaging formats for a taste of the Carribbean, Grace Foods UK, Beatson Clark, packaging, Asia

Lynn Sidebottom, Sales and Marketing Director at Beatson Clark, said, “Retailing at £0.99 per bottle, Caribbean Choice is a popular value brand, but the plastic squeezy bottle meant it was out of step with most of the other chilli sauces on the market.

“This new glass bottle is a cost-effective packaging solution for our client which will greatly enhance the quality feel of the product.”

The new container is a white flint 250ml square sauce bottle bespoke to Grace Foods UK with an MCA3 neck finish. The bottle is designed to fit with other containers within the client’s range and thereby optimise line efficiency.

“Our Caribbean Choice sauces are an exciting addition to any family kitchen, combining delicious taste and great value to help you add a true taste of the tropics to your everyday meals,” said Lisa Leung, Brand Manager at Grace Foods UK.

“We’re delighted with this great new packaging design, which will bring these products in line with our competitors.”
