Pepsi Japan to launch strawberry milk cola in pink plastic bottles

JAPAN – Pepsi Japan is launching a blush-tinted strawberry milk-cola drink – Pepsi Pink –in a pink bottle design that will certainly entices ‘Hello Kitty’ female fans.
According to Suntory Foods International Co Ltd – Pepsi’s distributor in Japan, this new beverage is bursting with “a refreshing taste and rich aroma” of strawberry milk, in a carbonated cola.
This “glamorous pink cola” beverage is contained in a plastic bottle wrapped in a striking metallic label replete with strawberry imagery and polka dots meant to evoke the seed-studded skins of the strawberry.
Targeted at Japan’s trendy, cute-obsessed legions of young ladies, the ultra-feminine, cutesy packaging design certainly stands out and captures attention.
The limited-edition product is set to hit retail shelves all over Japan on 8 November, in time for the “winter party season”.
