ITALY - RPC Cobelplast-Montonate has introduced a new packaging technology that offers the latest eye-catching design opportunities using printed metallic film laminated onto an A-PET base.
By using a solvent-free lamination process, the new product range from RPC Cobelplast-Montonate can offer highly personalised designs suitable for products such as ice cream containers, confectionery trays and trays for sushi – giving food brand owners maximum on-shelf impact.
“Unlike traditional in-line hot lamination, the off-line and solvent-free method enables RPC to laminate different materials in different applications,” said the Italian converter.
“It means customers can now choose from an enormous variety of decoration options, helping to reinforce branding and on-shelf presence.”
