SCOTLAND – A new glass bottle design for Whyte & Mackay’s whisky liqueur, Glayva, captures consumers’ attention on retail shelves.
When threebrand received a brief from Whyte & Mackay to increase brand awareness, on shelf prominence and convey the variety of flavours that give Glayva its unique taste, the independent creative branding agency decided to develop a classic yet at the same time intricate bottle design to showcase the product.
Lisa Gray, Client Services Director at threebrand, said, “The new bottles have been embossed with illustrations of the ingredients used within Glayva, showcasing the intricate combination of flavours that blend together to form the rich, honeyed spirit.
“We have also refreshed the label to give the brand a contemporary feel and highlight Glayva’s suggested serve, which is neat, either chilled or served over ice.”
With an easier understanding of how to best enjoy Glayva, consumers are better placed to make an informed decision when browsing the category.
Stephen Watt, UK off-trade sales director at Whyte and Mackay said, “We are confident that the new packaging will help further encourage consumers into the category by helping them best understand Glayva.”
